4 months

I blinked and my baby is 4 months! I knew it would happen fast so I have been loving every second of Lincoln's babyhood. He just keeps getting more fun (and handsome) every day. He's the sweetest little boy and loves having his brothers talk to him and hold him.

Here are some of his other loves: sucking on his fingers, grabbing anything in front of him (we have to watch our plates full of food now...) standing up with his strong little legs, catching anyone's eye and smiling at them, sleeping in his crib, drooling, being held, holding and eating toys, squealing with delight and grabbing and snuggling into my hair. We love you sweet little Lincoln!

4th and fireworks

Can I just say again that Wyoming is so beautiful? We went to Jackson Hole during the winter with Rich and Abby- and it was gorgeous then too. It was fun to walk around the town again in the summer and we had yummy Mexican food at 3 little piggies (I think that's what it was called??)
Ollie, Adam, My bro Eric holding Lincoln, Tagen, Benny, Linds, Addie, Elli and Brian. (E was hiding for this shot.)

Our little fam- minus the babe.
Smiles. Lincoln is such a happy boy- as long as his tummy is full! (Just like his momma!)
Linds in the cool sunset.

Ollie with his dollar store finds. The dollar store there is the best we've ever seen. Thanks for the tip R & A.

This is what I have to do to get in a shot I guess...

We decided not to stay for the fireworks in Jackson Hole because we heard that it would take forever to get out of town and we camped 45 minutes away in Alpine. So we drove to this tiny town to watch their display. Wyoming is the place to be on the 4th. There were fireworks in the sky in every direction and Alpine's were amazing. It was so fun! I hope I'm there on another July 4th someday. Thanks Erkki and Tagen- we had lots of fun!

Camping in Jackson

Over July 4th weekend we went to Wyoming for some good ol' camping. Eric and Tagen invited us up with her extended family and Linds and Brian brought their family too. It was sooo beautiful! The clouds were so cool on the way up!

Tagen's dad has all these horses. I was really excited to ride because it's been a while. Okay- so it's been like 20 years- last time I went was with my friend Telisse. But of course when it was my turn to go- Ollie had to ride with me and then cried the whole time. So it was cut short. I was bummed. The sacrifice that comes with being a mom I guess...
Ollie riding with Tagen's sis Jamie.

Elliott was super excited to ride. After the horses went home- he kept asking if he could ride again.
Me and my {sad} little Ollie.
Oh yeah. There's Adam in the background. Little did he know he was about to get bucked off! You'll have to ask him about it- pretty funny.

We bought this huge tent last year and were excited to use it again. Adam likes it because he can stand up in it. I like it because it keeps out the rain- since every time we camp it pours.
The mosquitoes were everywhere. Poor Ollie got a bite right between the eyes- so funny. I got attacked on my ankles even though I was slathering on the repellent. Mosquitoes love our whole family- I'm jealous of people who never get bitten!
This is how Baby Lincoln slept. Adam thought I went a little overboard on the blankets- but I'd rather have him really warm than too cold. The WY temps dropped low at night.
Yes- Baby Lincoln sleeps with his eyes half open sometimes...
My little tent helper.

This is one of the ways Elliott kept busy during the 5+ hour drive each way.
And here's Adam's Wyoming firework stash. You should have seen him in the store- just like a little kid... giddy even!

summer days

I have sooo many things to post! We have had a fun and busy summer so far.

This is just a little sidewalk paint we did the other day. It was actually pretty fun and washed off with the rain since it was made of chalk.
Benny, Ollie, Elliott, Lincoln, Addie and Elli
This will be one of the classic cousin pictures someday that makes us say "Ohh! Look how little Lincoln and Addie are!" and "That was before so and so was born..." Cute.
Elli painting her snake. She's such an artist.
The little ones mostly liked painting their hands. And Addie loved to paint her toes while talking high pitched jibberish. She is so fun to watch and listen to- she's just so girly!
