day 5- the place puzzles are made of

Cesky Krumlov, Czech Republic may be the most beautiful place I've ever visited. (What- have I said this before???) But look at this place! I could make a Swiss Days booth of landscape puzzles just from the photos I took there. And I snapped the above photo from, yep, the bathroom window, after I saw droves of women from our luncheon heading to the WC with their cameras! I grabbed mine and went to the wrong bathroom that was windowless (that was confusing) and had to come back to ask where the right one was. But I got the shot of the century. Too bad for the men whose bathroom didn't have such great views.
Our first glimpse of the town. It's surrounded by a river which makes the city even more charming. Just below us was a brewery and it was pumping out smells I've never experienced. Interesting.

"restaurants"
Just another {AMAZING} narrow, cobblestone street. And Karen and Steve.

But what do the thumbs mean?
Must plant these flowers next year- geraniums right? Do they step over them to get in the door? I don't know, but still a pretty sight.
Fancy! (If by fancy you mean no ice in your drinks...)
Love the charming greens, yellows and reds next to the water...
We walked across the bridge to the castle and looked down to see bears in the moat!
They've kept bears there for hundreds of years now. They were so fuzzy and cute! I really wish the boys were there to see them taking a bath.

This crooked, steep alleyway was one of my favorite parts of the town.

Karen was one of my favorite people in the tour group. She was so funny and cute. And we know some of the same people, which was cool. She was so fun to travel with and we both got our scarves on the streets of Cesky Krumlov.

Again, the photos don't do justice. You'll just have to visit it for yourself! :)

Charming is the word that comes to mind when I see those pictures. And beautiful too. I've loved reading your trip recaps.
