temple dedication

Last week our regular church was cancelled for a special meeting to dedicate the Brigham City Temple for everyone 8 years old and up. So we watched our neighbor's littles while they went to the early session and they watched Ollie and Linc while we went to the 12:00 session. It was fun to go with Elliott and tell him more about the temple- it's amazing how many questions he had. "Why are they wearing all white- even their ties?" He was also amazed at all the beautiful pictures of inside and outside different temples they were showing before the meeting started. I loved hearing Elder Packer (who was born and raised in Brigham City) say how he had traveled over 2 & 1/2 million miles in his life all for one purpose- to teach people about Jesus Christ. What a life!
It was a great meeting and day!
I look super tired in these pics. This was after the meeting and I was ready for a nap :)

Such a great experience for Elliott to go with you guys! I remember taking Adam to the Mt Timpanogos Temple dedication and since our stake was in charge we got to go to the Temple for it- we got to sit in the Brides Room. It was amazing. All our kids were old enough to go - Megs just made the deadline.

Cute striped maxi skirt! I swear I only wear skirts these days! They are so perfect for a growing belly...although I wish I could say my belly was growing with a baby like yours and not those late night icecream snacks.
