Elliott woke up to his room filled with balloons on his birthday. He brought them all downstairs and ate hootenannies for breakfast. He was so excited to take his class a special toy for his special day. But he was even more excited about his party later that day.
The party
Oh yeah- we thought a mitt would be a good present for E since he loves baseball. He's really good at hitting and throwing. So the night before, I waited in the car while Adam got the mitt. He said he couldn't help buying the coolest (meaning most expensive) one in there! (I would have spent $10 if they had that option.) We were planning on something else, but decided that was enough.

Happy Birthday, Elliott! Looks like a fun party--but how random that someone lost their tooth before the candles were blown out? That made me laugh :) We all know how important it is to not lose teeth, or the tooth fairy will never come :) Cute cake too!
Sounds like he had a very fun party!! You are so creative to make an icecream cake, and have it look so cute decorated too. Good Job! You are such a good mom putting all those balloons in his room. What a fun idea.
A little boy lost his tooth at my nephew's party too! Jay (my brother-in-law) said he'd put the tooth in a baggy and keep it safe until the boy's parents came to pick him up. When the boys' parents came and asked for the tooth, Jay realized he had actually thrown it away on accident. Oops.
