My boys talk about their birthday parties for the entire year. They talk about all their ideas and where they want to go and such. It might be one of their favorite subjects. Ollie really wanted to take a few friends to the pool, but we decided they're just too little, unless their moms came. So we had a nice little Hot Wheels party. Ollie is a bit of a Hot Wheels snob- the other day I saw him going through our bucket of cars and looking on the bottom to see the Hot Wheels sign. If he didn't see it he threw them back in. Silly boy.
He chose donuts instead of cake. Yum.
You have to blow out candles when you turn FIVE right? Well he was just getting over a cold, so we had him blow out candles on a mini cake. I totally bought it at Walmart at the last minute for five bucks and decorated the top to make it race car-y. So funny.
Each kid got to choose a new Hot Wheel car to race and take home. Props to my sis for letting us use this sweet ramp she used at Benny's lego party.
The kids had so much fun racing their cars! They could have done it the whole hour. Even the girls.
Of course Elliott's in charge. I was glad to have him help.
He invited his little preschool class: Gentry, Hailey, Ollie, Marin, Hudson, Dawson, Addie, Benny & Elliott
I love everyone's face in this pic- especially Benny's on the left...
This was a present from the cousins... his very own mini swimming frogs! Elliott was so jealous.
Linc missed the whole party with his nap. Ahhh, to sleep for 3 hours everyday...
