yo gabba gabba!

We were beyond excited when we heard Yo Gabba Gabba Live was coming into town.
And I was super excited when tickets went on groupon for half off.
And then my neighbor won tickets on the radio.
He thought it was for some play and said to the DJ's- "It should make for a great date night!"
They laughed.
Then he called his wife and she told him what it was about- a preschool rock show.
And she called me because she knows I'm a big fan!

They gave us free tickets (and great seats) to Yo Gabba Gabba!!
I told the boys we were going.
Elliott had to act all eight and said he wasn't going.
And Mr. Oliver decided he didn't want to either.
I was sad.
BUT...
Linc, Addie, Will & Sini with our cheeks filled with licorice.
Lindsey's kids are staying with us- so we took their babies too!
Get this- Melissa who gave us the tickets also watched the big kids!
(Yes- she is that amazing!!!)

We walked in 5 minutes late (Waiting for the shuttle from the stadium to Kingsbury Hall...)
And we walked into the most fun kid rock show ever!
People were dancing and singing and kids were everywhere!
Linc and Addie were so quiet and just stared at first.
But Baby Will was dancing the whole time.
Finally Addie started singing all the songs,
but Linc just stared the whole time and took in the whole thing.
He usually sings and dances like crazy to Yo Gabba Gabba.
 during intermission
One of our favorite songs- "There's a party in my tummy, so yummy, so yummy!"

My favorite thing about Yo Gabba Gabba are the lyrics to their songs...
we use them daily in our house.
Some of my favorite lines we sing:
Think happy thoughts, happy thoughts-- that's what you've gotta do!
Run run run, it's fun fun fun! Run run run, it's fun fun fun!
Don't be afraid, don't be afraid-- it's okay!

So fun for my kids!
Falling snow and just before this were falling leaves.
We were so close we got to go right up by the stage!
Every time they dropped confetti, we ran up to get some.
(See us up there?)
This lady's spandex suit was making me laugh so hard!

We loved that it was the original DJ Lance and they even had
Biz Markie and a guy from the Neon Trees teach a dancy dance.
 Addie catching confetti.

We had so much fun!

Thanks Melissa and Dave!!
