Today my to-do list looked something like this:
sweep the cardboard that is covering our new floors
clean the kitchen sink that will be ripped out in T minus 9 days
tidy the bathrooms that have no sinks, countertops or doors (T minus 9 days too)
paint baseboards
put couches and old furniture on KSL
Remodeling is weird.
And a much bigger job than I expected. You think you're hiring the work out, but after the guys leave, you've got to rearrange and prep and work hard... not to mention meeting the workers and waiting for the workers, and sometimes calling them to see where they are... the list goes on. Anyway- we've been staying up until 1 or 2 every night/morning. So tired. I need a break. But I'm so excited to get it finished.
Which is why I should have at least accomplished something on the list today right?
I didn't.
But I did get to visit my new baby niece, Gabby and chat with my SIL, Christie (who looks FABulous btw!) I could walk around with tiny Gabby all day and not even notice since my baby is somewhere around 27 pounds now... And Linc was my little visiting partner and somehow turned into a giant BIG boy next to his new cousin. So fun seeing a new Mommy in action.
I'd say it was a productive day. :)

That's exciting that you're remodeling. You should take lots of before and after pics. Your niece is adorable.
Remodeling!!! Oh I am so jealous. I swear all I do these days is look at design blogs. I hope you took before pictures and that you're going to share all the little details! I'm so excited!
Wow you are so lucky to have her for a niece! She is adorable! Haha I'd say you got lots done on my list :-) thanks again for visiting and lunch! And if course thanks for bringing my favorite little buddy linc sure love him! I'm so excited for the big reveal! I'm sure it's going to blow me away with all it's fashionability!
