One of our favorite books is "Daddy Kisses" -which has cute illustrations and writing that goes something like this, "Daddy squirrel kisses his baby squirrel on the paw," or "Daddy frog kisses his froglet on the eyes." I even get to read it and do the kissing- even though I'm just mommy. Love it!
We also have another one titled, "Mommy Hugs" that has lines like, "Mommy parrot hugs her chick with a nibble" and "Mommy polar bear hugs her cub with a tickle."
They are both by Anne Gutman and Georg Hallensleben and we love having them as part of our treasured book collection. (Can't get enough books!)
