summer nights

Last night was one of those perfect summer nights. First when we walked out of church, it smelled like rain- but it wasn't raining. Someone needs to bottle up that smell and sell it as perfume don't you think? Later- it was the perfect temp- so warm and peaceful out. This is our morning and nightly ritual- we walk around the flowerbeds and water the plants if they're dry, or give extra water to our special projects. My helper was Linc on this night, but sometimes it's Elliott or Ollie... or all three.I'm so happy our mini herb garden is finally ready! We planted seeds so long ago. Next year I might start a few weeks earlier.
What would this little face be without food and boogers? I can only clean it so many times a day! :)Also perfect for a pick up soccer game. The boys beg their Daddy everyday to play with them. And Linc likes to be held by Adam while they play- maybe it makes him feel a part of it? He cried every time he was put down. Ahhh. I've got to make the rest of this perfect summer count- it's slipping away too fast.
