apricots

 I was lucky enough to be at my mil's house when she got a text saying our friends' apricot tree was ready to be picked... (I have a thing for apricots...any fruit actually) and she invited me and the boys along. 

My fil, Steve loaded up all the ladders and step-stools he could find while Karen found boxes and bins. We had so much fun picking them! We were like kids in a candy store, eating one, picking a few and eating another. It's funny to think about all of us adults eating fruit to our hearts' content. 

P.S. The boys ate lots too- Linc was dripping with apricot juice by the end. And the boys helped me get them open and into the food dehydrator. Adam looves homemade dried fruit. I like it too, but I'd much rather have fresh.
